The pockets are positioned at a level which draw the eye upward, making the butt appear smaller and higher, creating an optical illusion. A darker rinse on the inner thigh region of the jeans makes thighs appear smaller. Highlights on the denim starting above the knee, as opposed to most other jeans that start below, make lower legs look longer and entire legs slimmer. Whiskers (the light horizontal lines across the zipper area in most rinsed denims) are shorter, making hips look narrower. The waist is low cut but high enough in the back so that when you sit or bend down, they do not slide down.
